YEARBOOK2015 CATTLE COUNCIL OF AUSTRALIA 51 To increase the success of our youth, the Cattle Council of Australia along with James Becker & Co, provided young individuals the chance to listen to 5 key industry personal regarding issues within the beef industry both of national and international importance. This exclusive discussion provided the “Future Generation” the opportunity to exchange contacts with other industry stakeholders as well as meet other individuals excelling in the industry. Cattle Council’s Independent Southern Board Director, Mr Marc Greening provided a presentation on the success within his Injemira Hereford Stud. Bruce Vincent Seminar – Beef Beyond 2015 ‘Can we "Meat" consumer’s expectations and our own’ Bruce Vincent Seminar- Beef Beyond 2015 ‘Can we ‘Meat’ consumer’s expectations and our own’ Bruce Vincent presented an excellent seminar focusing on consumer expectations, industry venues, social licence and providing a tool kit for producers to assist in engaging with different consumer avenues. Bruce Vincent, a third generation logger from Libby, Montana, USA co – owns public relations firm Environomics, volunteers as Executive Director of Provider Pals and is a board member of the Evergreen Foundation. Bruce has appeared on several news programs such as 60 minutes and was named Timberman of the year in Montana, Preserve America Awards from President Bush and names ‘Keeper of the 10th’ by the Women in Farm Economics. After Bruce's presentation four guest speakers provided a panel for the audience to discuss issues from a producer to consumer perspective. The panel included; • Howard Smith – Cattle Council of Australia President • Anthony Struss – AgForce Cattle President • Pip Band – MLA Manager of Community Engagement • Justin Boshammer – Producer and AgForce Cattle Director
