YEARBOOK2015 CATTLE COUNCIL OF AUSTRALIA 61 Reproduction in the Miyagi University, said “I hope to study more about the strengths and challenges of livestock industries in both countries, and challenge myself to be a profitable farmer by introducing opportunities that have been overlooked in the past”. Sota Sato is Iitate village of Fukushima prefecture where the entire community was forcefully evacuated due to the accidents at the Fukushima Nuclear plant. He noted in his report “Through this program, not only did I learn and experience so much, I was able to discover tasks that I would like to challenge in the future – the revival of Iitate community by resuming production of the once-famous Iitate Wagyu Beef”.
