Australian Cattle Council : Yearbook 2009
CA TTLE COUNCIL OF AUSTRALIA YEARBOOK 2009 The development of this level of MISP3 will occur between June and September 2009 and although compiled by the aforementioned organisations will be aligned with the seven MISP3 Themes and multiple Goals. An important step in the ownership and engagement process will be the widespread consultation process envisaged prior to MISP3’s finalisation, with electronic distribution of the final draft version anticipated in mid 2009. All industry participants will be encouraged to view the document. Unashamedly MISP3 has been process driven; RMAC considered this essential given the importance of the document to industry’s future direction. The final product will represent a ‘portal’ into which interested parties may enter and be directed towards the finite actions of those bodies being funded or part-funded by industry levies. Within the ‘rules’ governing delivery against the Plan will be a process of regular checks on progress against predetermined KPIs; these checks will be conducted by RMAC at the upper-most strategic level and by Peak Industry Councils at the operational level. It is anticipated that hard copies of the MISP3 document will run to about 25 pages or more so a summary of around four pages will also be provided for wider circulation in early 2010.
