EHA : Yearkbook 2009
EHA YEARBOOK 2009 Branch Reports A Branch Council initiative taken this year is to give scholarships for two Student Members/ Trainees to attend each of the major training schools during the coming year. The first two recipients, Jera Kubitzky and Mitchell Hibbens will attend the Food Surveillance School in September 2009. Student Member numbers have increased considerably following the Board decision to grant free annual membership to eligible Students and we encourage student member involvement in Branch activities. NSW/ACT Branch Council welcomes all members who have joined during the year and invites your participation. We also say farewell and thank you to a number of members who have retired from the workforce after holding membership of EHA (formerly AIEH) for most, if not all, of their working lives and made an enormous contribution to their professional body and their profession Shannon McKiernan MEHA NSW/ACT Branch President New South Wales/Australian Capital Territory Branch (continued)
